Welcome to Silhouettes Belgians

We got our first Belgian, Blue in 2001.  As a puppy, he looked like a little black bear.  It didnt' take long and we were in love.  His keen intelligence, instincts, and devotion were unlike any we had seen in other breeds.   We decided he needed a mate.

This led us on a journey.  It took a long time to find the breeding we wanted, and when we finally did, it was 5,000 miles away in Norway.  We reserved a future puppy and in the fall of 2005 we traveled to Oslo to pick out our puppy and bring her home.  

We met the sire and dam of our Sophie.  Her sire, Orion was voted the best breeding belgian in Europe in 2002 and 2004 and has won the championship of five European countries including his native France and earning the title of Norwegian Belgian champion . 

Her dam, Bijou has won four European championships including her native France as well as Norway's.  They had the same sweet disposition of our Blue.  

Our journey was over.  We found our little girl.  We returned home with Sophie in her carrier at our feet.
